Linked In Is Out of Control

I woke up this morning to find a new post on my blog. I thought that was a bit strange since I didn't write one.  It was a reminder from my "friends" at Linked In that I had invited my blog to connect with me on Linked in.  WTF?

Last week I logged into Linked In and it said that my friends were using linked in and it could find my friends on linked in. I said OK. What a mistake. It went through all of my friends list and sent out Linked In invitations to everyone and everything not on Linked In. Including this blog, several lists I belong and to and I don't know what else.

This is just over the top and Linked In should stop this gross invasion of privacy. It is bad form and makes me want to stop using the service!  Sorry if you were spammed by my  overactive Linked In account.
