It’s RSA time

So my first day at RSA got off to a late start. I was delayed in LA on my way to San Fran. Instead of getting in before noon, I didn’t hit SFO until almost 4. As a result I missed one of my favorite RSA activities, the Americas Growth Capital Conference. It is held the Monday of RSA week every week and is a great chance to catch up early on.  I caught up with Maria Lewis Kussmaul, the co-founder and driving force behind AGC. The conference was another great success

Also this year the CSA had their conference Monday morning as well.  I heard the CSA event was an SRO crowd and really good. Lots of announcements coming out of CSA, but the bigger thing was the wide range of support and participation by some of the biggest names in tech.

By the time I got in and situated it was almost time for the expo floor to open.  Great chance to walk around and catch up.  Saw lots old faces and some new ones.  After that I went to my favorite opening night party from Qualys.  From there to the W and the usual.

RSA is under way and looking forward to today.a

A couple of random thoughts:

Everything is cloud here this year

A&T is much better. Have lots of coverage and bandwidth.

It is cold and rainy, hope it gets better soon.

Will write more later.
