StillSecure, After all these years, Podcast #21

StillSecure, After all these years episode 21 is a little different.  Our special guests tonight are Eric Green, publisher from Larstan Publishing and Jason Van Orden, author of "How to promote your podcast: the ultimate guide to building an audience of raving fans".  Larstan are the folks who bring you the "Little Black Book of Security" series, but also publish Jason's book under their Podcast University series.  Great info on how to promote and have a succesful podcast and blog.

Also this week, Mitchell and I start a new segment called "The Converging Minute".  Mitchell will talk about relevant news and topics around network convergence.  This week Mitchell talks about how Linux is an anchor around much of networking convergence today.

In "This Week in Security", Mitchell and I discuss:

  1. Juniper's UAC 2.0
  2. Novell-Microsoft patent news
  3. Source Media and their former employee using 3 year old passwords to access confidential information
  4. RSA and the SC Magazine awards coming up

We hope you enjoy the show and please send any questions, comments or suggestions to us at podcast@stillsecure.com

Thanks to ClickCaster for hosting our podcast. Tonights music is the usual, To the Summit by Jon Schmidt. You can hear more from Jon at http://www.jonschmidt.com.  Music transitions between segments are by our own Mitchell Ashley!
