Secret Service pulls 9th grader out of class

Just watching CNN and I saw a rather bizarre story that illustrates the crazy times we are living under in this country.  Seems a little girl in 9th grade disagrees with President Bush and put up on her My Space page something to that effect and said Kill Bush on the site. Now I am not saying I agree with putting that up on a web site (before they knock on my door), but what happens next is way out there.  Next thing you know Secret Service agents show up at her school and have her dragged out of class.  They begin questioning her and tell her this is a very serious manner and she has possibly violated a federal law.  They scared the crap out of the girl made her cry and then said OK their work was done.

I understand the Secret Service needs to investigate these things.  But if they knew the girls school and age, do you think pulling her out of class was necessary?  Do you think a 13 or 14 year old child has a right to have her parents with her when she is being questioned by the authorities? What about freedom of speech.  No they did not arrest this young girl, but do you think they stifled any dissent. It is this kind of over the top, heavy handedness that makes me think we have gone to far in this country.  I understand protecting the President from threats, but guys give me a break here.
