More on Nessus 3.0 and Open Source

In follow up to my post on Nessus 3.0, SC Magazine had a short article that StillSecure and I were featured in. It closely follows a Gartner report I read recently that said all of the different users of Nessus and other formerly open source products that have changed their licensing should reevaluate their choice and make sure they are on the right side of any license issues.  With our Nessus to VAM connector, Still Secure is in a perfect place to offer Nessus users a seamless migration path to a full-fledged, commercial vulnerability management platform.  The fact that you can use multiple scanners with VAM is a huge advantage. It will be interesting to see what effect this is going to have in the marketplace.  I for one will be watching it closely.
